Hi, I’m Devon Taylor Assael,
an Associate Broker with Dave Jones Realty, proudly serving Middletown and the surrounding Middlesex County communities. I’ve been a licensed Realtor since 2008 and an Associate Broker since 2019, guiding clients through every type of market, including the recession, COVID, and the most recent market softening. In 2025 alone, I helped 30 families successfully buy or sell their homes. After putting down roots in Middletown over the past 10 years, and previously living in Old Saybrook and Milford, I bring broad market knowledge across Connecticut, from luxury shoreline properties to 55+ communities and condominiums.
I especially enjoy working with first-time homebuyers and find genuine joy in handing over the keys at closing. I’m equally passionate about helping homeowners downsize from the homes where they raised their families, thoughtfully transitioning those spaces to new owners ready to create their own memories.
My real estate career began part-time while I spent over a decade working in my father’s business, where I developed a strong foundation in sales and finance. He remains my mentor and advisor to this day. In January 2024, after his company was sold, I transitioned into real estate full time, bringing together my passion for homes, people, and strategic problem-solving. Over the past decade, I’ve closed more than 150 transactions across Connecticut.
I’m also one of the first A.I. Certified Agent™ professionals in Connecticut, combining deep local expertise with data-driven insights and modern marketing strategies to help clients make confident, informed decisions. My approach is calm, strategic, and always centered on my clients’ goals.
Outside of real estate, my family is my priority. I’m a proud mom to my 8-year-old daughter, Charlee, a cerebral palsy and epilepsy warrior, and I love traveling with my husband and bonus daughter. When I’m not selling homes, you’ll find me training, exercising, watching sports, or enjoying a great local wine.
I’ve recently expanded my business to include broker licenses in Florida and Pennsylvania, allowing me to support friends, family, and clients beyond Connecticut. Along with my two full-time assistants, our Dave Jones Realty Middletown team is committed to delivering exceptional results with professionalism, a personal touch, and just the right amount of flair.

Isabella Assael
Isabella Assael is a 19-year-old Connecticut native, born and raised in Wethersfield and Middletown. A 2024 high school graduate, Isabella is actively pursuing a career in both electrical work and real estate, combining hands-on technical skills with a strong interest in property and
market dynamics.
At the Dave Jones Realty Middletown office, Isabella plays a key support role, assisting with buyer appointments, market analysis, marketing initiatives, and open houses. Her local roots, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn make her a valuable part of the team and a rising professional in the industry.
